Quick service Vegetarian restaurant that is nothing like other “fast food” choices. Offering pita sandwiches and salad bar, and you get to choose the healthy ingredients that you want – including corn, carrot salad, tablouli, cabbage, yogurt, etc, etc.
The first Maoz was opened in Amsterdam, Holland where their signature Maoz sandwich was first invented and introduced to the world. Since then, they opened a restaurant in Philadelphia, followed by another in New York City.
What is a Maoz Sandwich you ask? Home baked pits bread filled with crsipy handmade Falafel balls (gluten free) which are made from chickpeas, fresh spices and vegetables that are then zero trans-fat canola oil. Add your own additional healthy ingredients from the salad bar, pair up with a lemonade, and vuala! … Absolute delishiousness is what we say.
